These ivory Pillar Candles offer 160 hours of burning time.
Ingredients Parafin Wax

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Place candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, flammable
materials, children and pets. Before lighting the candle, trim the wick
to about 7mm or 1/4 inch and ensure the wax pool is clear of debris.
Light the candle and let it burn until the wax melts across the entire
surface to prevent ‘tunneling’. To extinguish, snuff the flame instead
of blowing it out and re-centre the wick once the wax has cooled. Never
leave a burning candle unattended.

Before You Light A Candle:

Trim The Wick:

Before each use, trim the wick to about 7mm or 1/4 inch to prevent smoking and high flames.

Clear Debris:

Remove any matches, wick trimmings, or other debris from the wax pool before burning.

Positioning A Candle:

Place
the candle on a flat, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, other
heat sources, flammable materials, children, and pets.

Allow The Candle To Pool:

On the first burn, let the candle burn long enough for the wax pool to reach the outer edge of the container.

This prevents "tunneling," which is when a ring of unmelted wax forms around the sides.

Avoid Drafts:

A draft can cause the candle to burn unevenly, smoke, or drip.

Place it in a well-ventilated but draft-free area.

Be Patient:

Only burn the candle for a reasonable amount of time. Extended burning can cause the wick to move or slant.

Monitor The Candle Flame:

If the flame gets too high or starts to smoke excessively, extinguish the flame and trim the wick before relighting.

How To Extinguish A Candle

Use A Candle Snuffer:

extinguish the flame, use a candle snuffer. This prevents hot wax from splattering.

Cool Candles Completely:

Allow the wax to cool and solidify completely before moving the candle or handling it.

Recentre The Wick:

Once the wax has cooled, straighten and re-centre the wick so it's ready for the next burn.

Safety First

  • Never leave a candle unattended: Always keep a burning candle in sight.
  • Do not move a candle while it is burning: Never move a burning candle or a candle with hot wax.
